Galashiels man Alexander Kenmuir on attempted murder charge
A Galashiels man has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court charged with attempted murder.
It follows an incident in the Glendinning Terrace area of the town on Tuesday night when a 31-year-old man suffered injuries.
Alexander Kenmuir, 39, has also been accused of threatening or abusive behaviour.
He made no plea or declaration during a brief private hearing and the case was continued for further examination.
Mr Kenmuir was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in court again on 28 December.
