Hawick and Kelso men in court following drug raids

Two men have appeared in court following raids in the Scottish Borders in which drugs with a street value of about £7,000 were recovered.

Robert George Brown, 24, of Kelso, and George Gilmour, 56, of Hawick, were charged with importing a controlled drug and being concerned in its supply.

They appeared in private on petition at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.

They made no plea or declaration and their cases were continued. Both men were released on bail.
