Police name motorcyclist killed in A1 crash

Police have named a 33-year-old man who died after a crash involving three vehicles on the A1 in the Borders.

James Marlow, 33, from Edinburgh, suffered fatal injuries in the collision between his Yamaha motorbike, a Landrover and a Ford Focus on the Edinburgh to Berwick road.

The crash happened at about 1710 GMT on Tuesday at the junction leading to Ayton in Berwickshire.

Lothian and Borders Police asked anyone who saw the collision to contact them.

The road was closed for more than five hours for a collision investigation.
