A75 carriageway reopens after road accident

The A75 has reopened after a crash on a stretch of the Gretna to Stranraer road at Collin.

A spokeswoman for Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary said that two vehicles had been involved in the accident on Thursday afternoon.

The eastbound carriageway was closed for accident investigations to take place and diversions were put in place, but it has since reopened to traffic.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured.
