Hospital IT firm Craneware reports another record sales year
Hospital IT company Craneware has announced record sales for the third year in a row.
The Edinburgh-based firm, which provides billing software for the US healthcare market, said "new sales" contracts amounted to $58m (£44.6m) in the year to the end of June.
The total was more than 60% up on the previous year.
In a trading update, Craneware said it expected to see revenues for the year rise by 11% and adjusted profit by 10%.
Significant new sales included a deal with a network of 50 hospitals worth more than $7.5m (£5.7m) over five years.
It also secured a five-year multi-hospital group contract, which is expected to deliver revenue of more than $8m (£6.1m) from 2017.
The company, which employs about 200 staff, will announce its full-year results on 6 September.
