Skier injured in accident on Lochnagar

A skier has been injured in an accident on an Aberdeenshire mountain.

Braemar Mountain Rescue Team said the skier was believed to have suffered serious injuries after falling at Red Spout on Lochnagar.

The person was flown to hospital by the Inverness Coastguard helicopter. The alarm was raised at about 14:00.

Members of Braemar MRT helped a second skier, who was uninjured, to safety from the scene. Aberdeen MRT was also called to the incident.
