Sudden Aberdeen death not treated as suspicious

The sudden death of a man in Aberdeen did not appear to have been suspicious, police have said.

The alarm was raised in the Bon Accord Street area at about 08:25 and emergency services attended.

Police later said it involved a man in his 60s and that there were no apparent suspicious circumstances. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

Insp Carron McKellar said: "Our thoughts are with this man's next of kin at this sad time."
