Woman taken to hospital after A93 crash near Inchmarlo

A woman has been taken to hospital after being freed following a crash in Aberdeenshire.

It happened on the A93 at Bridge of Canny, near Inchmarlo, shortly after 09:20.

The woman - believed to be in her 40s - was freed by firefighters.

She was then taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with what were thought to be potentially serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
