Boy, 16, charged after police pursuit on A90

A 16-year-old boy has been charged after a police pursuit ended with a car crashing through a fence.

Police said the alleged failure-to-stop incident happened on the A90 in the Laurencekirk area on Monday night.

It ended between Marykirk and St Cyrus. No-one was injured.

Police Scotland said the teenager was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday. He was also charged in connection with other road traffic offences.
