Kieran Ross named as man who died in A93 crash

A driver who died following a crash in Aberdeenshire has been named.

Kieran Ross, 30, from the Peterculter area of Aberdeen was driving on the A93 near Invercauld when the accident happened on Sunday morning.

Mr Ross was the sole occupant of the red Seat Ibiza involved.

Sgt David Pirie, of Police Scotland, said: "Our thoughts at this difficult time are with Kieran's family and friends. Our investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing."

Police have appealed for witnesses.
