Pedestrian, 91, seriously injured in Aberdeen van collision

A 91-year-old man has been seriously injured after being hit by a van on the outskirts of Aberdeen.

The collision involving the pensioner and a white Vauxhall Vivaro happened on the Findon to Cove road at about 12:10.

The 37-year-old van driver was unhurt. The elderly pedestrian is being treated in hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them.
