Complaint over police driving on A96 in Aberdeenshire investigated

A complaint that police officers endangered other motorists by driving on the wrong side of the A96 in Aberdeenshire is being investigated.

The officers were responding to an accident on the northbound carriageway at the Tyrebagger hill during Friday evening's rush hour.

Officers using blue lights are said to have driven up the southbound stretch.

Police Scotland said a complaint about the driving had been received and was being investigated.
