Appeal over 'nasty' football injury at Aberdeen Celtic match

Police have appealed for witnesses after a woman in the crowd at the Aberdeen match with Celtic suffered a "nasty" injury.

The 53-year-old from Aberdeen was injured by an object apparently thrown into the crowd.

Police Scotland said CCTV was being studied in a bid to identify who was responsible for the incident at the end of the game.

Ch Insp Murray Main urged fans to come forward with information.

The "vast majority" of fans were said to have acted responsibly before, during and after the game.

Celtic won the game 1-0.
