Airlift for woman hurt in two-car Peterhead crash

A woman has been seriously injured after two cars collided in Peterhead.

A silver Renault Clio and a silver Honda Civic crashed on the town's South Road at about 14:30.

The woman, who is believed to have been driving one of the cars, has been airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

A man, thought to be the other driver, was described as "walking wounded".
