Police plea on 'inappropriate touching' by man in Aberdeen park

Police have appealed for information after reports of a man "inappropriately touching" two females in an Aberdeen park.

The two incidents happened at Seaton Park near to the Hillhead Halls of Residence between 17:00 and 17:30 in the past two weeks.

The man is described as white, aged between 17 and 20, about 5ft 7in tall, with short fair hair.

He was described as wearing dark sportswear, including a hooded top.

Det Con Kirsty Munro said: "Neither of the females who were involved in the incidents were hurt or injured in any way, however understandably they were concerned and felt uncomfortable about what had happened.

"Given the similarities of the incidents uniformed officers will be giving particular attention to the area and I would urge people using the park to be on their guard."
