Dyce Primary School in Aberdeen evacuated after fire alarm

An Aberdeen primary school was evacuated following a fire alarm.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to Dyce Primary at about 09:20.

Three appliances went to the scene, and what the fire service described as a "small fire" was dealt with with in about half an hour. No-one was injured.

Aberdeen City Council later said the cause of smoke was identified as an electrical fault. Pupils in P2 and P3 were sent home for the day.
