Water supplies low on weather-hit Shell Gannet platform in North Sea
Water supplies are running low on a Shell North Sea platform due to the bad weather, the oil company has said.
Shell said a supply vessel had been unable to offload to Gannet - 112 miles (180km) east of Aberdeen - due to "poor weather" over the weekend.
A spokesperson said the vessel was nearby and its cargo would be transferred at the earliest opportunity, weather permitting.
Gannet is one of the platforms involved in recent strike action.
Unite and the RMT unions are representing hundreds of workers involved in the dispute over pay and conditions with oil services company Wood Group on seven Shell platforms.
