CCTV appeal over serious assault in Aberdeen
A CCTV image has been released of a man police want to trace in connection with a serious assault in Aberdeen.
A 26-year-old man suffered a serious injury to his mouth after an incident on Bath Street at about 0:125 hours on Monday 13 June.
It was described as an "unprovoked" attack.
Police said the man in the CCTV image may be able to assist with enquiries. He was described as in his mid 20s, of heavy build, with ginger hair.
PC Stuart Hache said: "This was an unprovoked attack resulting in the male sustaining a serious injury to his mouth.
"Assaults of this nature have a significant impact on the life of the victim. I would appeal to anyone who recognises the male pictured or has any knowledge of this incident to come forward and contact the police."
