Pedestrian dies after lorry accident on B9005 in Aberdeenshire

A pedestrian in his 50s has died after he was struck by a lorry in Aberdeenshire.

The B9005 was closed between Gight and Fyvie as a result.

Police Scotland said the incident happened at about 13:50.

The road was expected to remain closed for some time and local diversions have been put in place.
