Child seriously injured by car in Aberdeen

A child has been seriously injured after being struck by a car in Aberdeen.

The accident happened at about 15:40 in Provost Fraser Drive.

The injuries to the child - believed to be a boy aged about 14 - were thought to be serious, but not life-threatening.

Meanwhile, emergency services have been called to a two-vehicle crash on the A93 west of Banchory. One was believed to be off the road and one overturned.
