Boy knocked down taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

A 10-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being knocked down by a car in Aberdeen.

The accident happened in Donbank Terrace at about 08:20.

The Scottish Ambulance Service told the BBC Scotland news website the boy was believed to have suffered a serious leg injury.

He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
