Woman dies after being knocked down by HGV in Aberdeen

A woman has died after being knocked down by an HGV in Aberdeen city centre.

The accident happened in Market Street at about 08:30. The 51-year-old woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but died.

Market Street was closed northbound, near the bus station, as a result.

Later, a male motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries after a collision in Aberdeen's Crown Street.
