The search for an Aberdeen man who has been missing for two weeks is being extended throughout the UK.

Mark Ingram, 32, was last seen in the city's Mastrick Road on 26 November.

Police Scotland officers are now visiting community centres, churches and places of shelter in Aberdeen in an effort to find him.

Posters will be distributed by the charity Missing People to what are seen as relevant locations across the country.

Det Insp Stephen Beattie said: "As time goes on we are becoming increasingly worried for Mark's welfare and safety.

"We know Mark has connections in Aberdeen but also in the Banchory and Torphins area so we ask that anyone with information gets in touch."

When last seen, Mr Ingram was wearing a black jacket, a grey hooded jumper, and dark jeans.
