CCTV appeal over thefts from trains between Dundee and Stonehaven
A CCTV image has been released after two "high-value" thefts on board trains travelling between Dundee and Stonehaven.
British Transport Police (BTP) said the incidents happened on trains from Edinburgh to Aberdeen in October.
BTP said the CCTV image showed a man who was travelling on both trains, and who left at Stonehaven.
One of the items taken was said to be a "rare and valuable woodwind instrument".
No further details were available.
The man officers want to speak to the man was described as being aged in his late 30s, of slim build, clean shaven, and with short brown/greying hair.
He was wearing a dark jacket, denims, and was carrying a dark rucksack.
