Fourteen charged after drug searches in Fraserburgh and St Combs

Fourteen people have been charged over alleged drug-related offences in Fraserburgh and St Combs.

Police Scotland said five women aged between 26 and 41 and nine men aged between 16 and 53 were charged after search warrants were executed on Friday as part of Operation Banook.

Heroin with an estimated street value of £4,000 and crack cocaine worth almost £1,000 was recovered.

The 14 people were expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Monday.
