Man jailed over £250,000 cocaine haul in Aberdeen

A man caught in Aberdeen carrying cocaine worth an estimated £250,000 has been jailed.

Garry Davidson, 25, of Muchalls, was jailed for 44 months at the High Court in Aberdeen after he admitted being concerned in the supply of drugs.

He was arrested by police in Aberdeen's Kincorth Crescent in January.

Co-accused Keith Milne, 56, was sentenced to a community payback order with 200 hours of unpaid work.

Milne, who worked as a self-employed taxi driver, had agreed to collect drug packages and keep them in his home after running up gambling debts.

Judge Lady Wolffe told Milne, of Aberdeen, he should count himself "very fortunate" not to be jailed.
