Boiler suits and boots for young farmer William Sangster's funeral

Friends of a young farmer who died in crash have been told they can wear boiler suits and boots to his funeral.

William Sangster, 19, from Auchnagatt, was a passenger in a car which crash near Mintlaw last weekend.

His funeral will be held at Crimond Parish Church on Tuesday at 11:00.

The newspaper death notice for the teenager - known as Wull - adds: "For Wull's friends if they wish to wear boiler suits and boots they can."

The 17-year-old male driver, two 17-year-old females and an 18-year-old man were injured in the crash.

Mr Sangster's family described him as a "larger than life character" and said he would be "sorely missed."

They spoke of his love of farming, saying it was "what he lived for".
