Plea after men fled crash scene in Huntly

Two men who fled from the scene of a car crash in Aberdeenshire are being sought by police.

The collision happened at East Park Street in Huntly at about 17:35 on Sunday, and involved at a blue Subaru Imprezza and blue Mercedes 23.

A man, 60, and a woman in her 40s were taken to hospital for treatment.

Police Scotland said they wanted to trace the two males occupants of the Subaru, aged in their 20s, who ran from the scene.

They were both were wearing jeans, one of them was wearing a black hooded top and the other had a bright green jumper.

Anyone with information has been urged to come forward.
