Travelling people who started camping on school playing fields in Aberdeen moved on after a court eviction order was granted.

The travelling community set up camp at Hazlehead Academy.

An eviction order was granted at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday afternoon.

There was a large police presence afterwards, and the gathering of about 30 caravans started moving on before 17:00.

The caravans initially travelled only a short distance to another site, but then moved on.
