CCTV released over Aberdeen sexual attack

Police probing a sex attack on a woman in Aberdeen have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace.

The 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the Crown Street area between 02:00 and 02:30 on Sunday 4 March.

The man police are keen to identify is described as being between 20 and 25, of medium build, and wearing blue jeans and a shirt.

Grampian Police appealed for anyone with any information to come forward.

Det Insp Cammy Preston said: "We are seeking this individual to assist us with our enquiries and would ask him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

"I'd also urge anyone who has information about this incident to contact us as soon as possible."

The woman was said to have been left shaken as a result of the attack but did not require medical treatment.
