Two men killed in Caithness car crash named

A teenager and another man have died after their car came off the road near Thurso.

The crash happened on the A836 Castletown to Dunnet road in Caithness shortly after 2300 GMT on Monday.

They have been named by police as call centre assistants Connor Craigie, 17, of Dunnet, and Graham Scott, 33, of Thurso.

Northern Constabulary said the men were pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.

The road was closed while an investigation was carried out. A report on the crash will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
