Grampian Police crime operation in Aberdeen 'a success'
Police have promised further action against bad driving, anti-social behaviour and drug-related crime after a "successful" clamp down in Aberdeen.
Operation Euphorbia was aimed at addressing concerns in the Cove, Nigg, Kincorth and Garthdee communities.
Dozens of motorists were stopped, as well as people being arrested, charged or receiving anti-social behaviour fixed penalty notices.
The operation in the south of the city ran between 5 and 23 January.
Insp Murray Main said: "We stopped a high number of motorists committing a variety of offences.
"More arrests are likely to follow, Operation Euphorbia doesn't stop here.
"The police activity is part of an ongoing operation designed to combat unacceptable behaviour in and around this area of Aberdeen."
He added: "We rely on the public in providing us with information so that we can continue this work in the longer-term."
