Male pedestrian critically injured in Moray


A male pedestrian has been taken to hospital with "critical" injuries after being knocked down in Moray.

The accident happened on the A96 at Cooper Park in Elgin at about 1320 GMT.

The Scottish Ambulance Service told the BBC Scotland news website the man had been taken to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin for treatment.

Later, three people were also taken to Dr Gray's, after a two-vehicle crash on the A96 at Mosstodloch at about 1510 GMT.

The casualty from the first accident was expected to be transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for further treatment.
