Man killed after road crash on A96 named

An elderly man who died following a two-vehicle crash on the A96 near the Aberdeen Airport roundabout has been named.

James Rose, 72, of Dyce, died after the accident which happened at about 1240 GMT on Wednesday.

Two other people, a man and a pregnant woman, were also injured.

Earlier, a man aged about 40 was seriously injured in a crash near the Cairnie crossroads which blocked the B979 Peterculter to Inverord road.
