Woman and boy seriously injured in A90 crash


A woman and a six-year-old boy have suffered serious injuries in a three car accident on the outskirts of Peterhead.

The woman has been taken by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with what are being described as "life threatening" injuries.

The young boy was taken to Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital.

One other person has been hurt in the crash on the A90 between the Invernetty Roundabout and Stirling Village.

The road has been blocked by the accident and Grampian Police officers are diverting traffic.
