Aberdeen off licence warned over underage drink sales

An off licence in Aberdeen has received a warning after being caught selling alcohol to underage teenagers twice in a week.

Tariq Mahmood, owner of Wine Raks in Urquhart Road, was warned by the city's licensing board his license was likely to be suspended if he offended again.

Test purchasers aged 16 bought cider in July, and wine a week later.

The board was told the shop specialises in upmarket wine and whisky, and that most of its customers are aged over 30.
