Teenager charged after Aberdeen crime spree

An 18-year-old woman has been charged after a crime spree saw thefts worth thousands of pounds in Aberdeen.

Police said there had been more than 20 offences in the Bucksburn, Dyce and Kingswells areas between January and September.

The incidents included various thefts of vehicles and break-ins, estimated to be worth a high four-figure sum.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said the woman was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
