Campaigners who have spent 20 years fighting to save a historic Black Isle church have completed its £750,000 restoration.

Kirkmichael at Balblair dates back to at least the early 1400s and will now house a display of carved stones found in the area.

The building was in a state of collapse and snow caused the last surviving part of its roof to cave in 2013.

It restoration was made possible by a major fundraising effort.

Kirkmichael at Balblair was built in the Middle Ages but fell into disuse in the 18th Century.
