Thefts from six unlocked vehicles in Inverness

Police are investigating thefts from six unlocked vehicles that occurred in the same area of Inverness overnight on Sunday into Monday.

Computer equipment, such as satellite navigation devices, money and paperwork were taken.

The thefts happened in the Castle Heather area of the city.

Police Scotland has urged people to make sure their vehicles are locked and to remove valuables which should also be security marked.
