Fort William road closed over yacht capsize fear
The A82 through Fort William has been partially closed over fears a yacht next to the road may capsize.
It is understood crew onboard the Norwegian boat tied it to fencing alongside the A82 to stop it tipping over after they ran aground.
Police said the "full weight" of the vessel had come onto the fence as the tide receded.
The northbound lane of the A82 is expected to be closed for several hours. Diversions are in place.
Police said they were hoping that the high tide later in the evening would refloat the boat.
Scottish Fire and Rescue crews are also at the scene.
