Kilsyth man Robert McLachlan dies after A9 crash

A man whose car came off the A9 near Kingussie and went into a ditch on 26 February has died in hospital.

Police Scotland said Robert McLachlan, 57, from Kilsyth, in North Lanarkshire, had become unwell while driving.

He was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where he died on 1 March, said police.

No other vehicle was involved in February's crash, which closed the A9 around the scene of the accident for several hours.
