Police have made a new appeal for information following the death of a 20-year-old man in a crash in the Highlands on 4 January.

Angus Plowman, from Fortrose, was driving a black Volkswagen Golf which collided with a black Renault Megane on the A832 Avoch to Munlochy.

Police have appealed to the driver of a silver family car who may have seen the two cars before the accident.

The silver car was travelling towards Munlochy.

The crash happened at about 11:00 near the Rosehaugh Estate on the Black Isle.

The occupants of the Megane received minor injuries but did not require further treatment.
