A semi-detached house in Stornoway in Lewis has been mistakenly valued at more than £14m.

Annabel and Dan MacDonald, who own the home in Balmerino Drive, estimate its actual value to be closer to £150,000.

Mr MacDonald said the house was not for sale, but added that he would consider selling if someone was willing to pay millions for it.

Property website Zoopla has blamed a technical glitch for the mistake on its website.

The site had also said the couple's home came with a 10-bed houseboat.

Mrs MacDonald said: "It is not on the market - I can't understand how they have reached that valuation.

"I wish it was worth over £14m."
