In pictures: Remembrance Sunday in Inverness

People in Inverness joined others across Scotland in a two-minute silence on Sunday to remember those who have died in conflicts.

This year's services had an added significance, with the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War One.

A wreath-laying ceremony was held at Cavell Gardens War Memorial on the banks of the River Ness.
