Fault forces diversion of London Luton-Inverness flight

A flight from London Luton Airport to Inverness was diverted back to Luton because of a technical problem with the aircraft.

The flight had been due to land at Inverness at 11:20.

Highlands and Islands Airports Limited said the plane returned to London due to a technical problem.

The service was expected to eventually arrive in Inverness at 13:25.
