Three jailed for attack on man in Inverness car park

Three Inverness men have been jailed for a total of four-and-a-half years after admitting to an assault on another man in the city last July.

Michael Bradshaw, 22, was jailed for 24 months backdated to 9 January this year.

Dennis Liversidge, 22, and Scott MacKinnon, 37, were both sentenced 15 months, which was also backdated.

Their victim, Michael Miksa, needed hospital treatment after he was punched and repeatedly kicked.

Liversidge and Bradshaw admitted punching and repeatedly kicking Polish national Mr Miksa on the head and body in the Ardconnel Street car park on 9 July.

Bradshaw also pleaded guilty to the allegation that the assault was racially aggravated.

MacKinnon admitted kicking Mr Miksa.

The court heard that the attack ended when a member of the public shouted: "Okay, that's enough."

The incident was captured on CCTV.
