Stolen goods 'worth £60,000' recovered in Highlands

Stolen items, including cash and jewellery, worth up to £60,000, have been recovered by police in the Highlands.

It is thought the goods were stolen during a number of housebreakings in the Badenoch and Strathspey area.

Police detained a 57-year-old man, believed to be from the Manchester area, Following a tip-off from a member of the public.

A spokesman said householders were now trying to identify their property.
