Police appeal over A82 biker Fort William death crash

Police have appealed for witnesses after the driver of a motorbike was killed on the A82 south of Fort William.

He crashed at about 15.35 on Tuesday between Onich and North Ballachulish, just south of the Corran ferry terminal.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a white Transit type van which was towing a trailer.

The road was closed in both directions for over eight hours.

Extensive diversions caused long delays for drivers on the route.
