Drugs seized at Inverness Railway Station


A man was arrested and drugs believed to be worth £50,000 seized in a police operation at Inverness Railway Station, Northern Constabulary have said.

The force said the 28-year-old, from the London area, was expected to appear from custody at Inverness Sheriff Court later.

The operation over the weekend involved Northern, British Transport Police and sniffer dogs.

Police alleged the man was found in possession of class B drugs.
