Biker killed in A82 crash was motorcycle instructor

A motorcycle instructor out for a ride with his brother was killed in a road accident on the A82 near Drumnadrochit.

Matt Campbell, 35, from Inverness, died on Saturday following a crash involving a number of vehicles.

In a statement, his family said they were finding it hard to express how devastated they felt.

Mr Campbell was with his brother Graham when the accident happened about five miles south of Urquhart Castle.

His family said he was highly skilled and safety conscious.

In the statement, they added: "We have lost our much loved son, brother and grandson Matt.

"It is hard to express how devastated we feel.

"He died doing what he loved to do more than anything else - riding his motorbike with his best friend - his brother Graham.

"Our family, his girlfriend Jenna and his many friends will miss him so much."

Mr Campbell is also survived by his parents David and Shirley and sister Jill.
